These are days full of so much suffering and pain– in people's personal lives, locally, nationally, internationally.

We need outlets: Ways to cope, so that we can be present in our own bodies and relationships, and get out of overwhelm, find our own roles in the larger work of this moment.

So here are a couple of exercises that I have found can sometimes be helpful when Really, Truly Everything Feels Like Like Too Much. Or even: a lot, because being a human person on a normal day is often already a lot!

The Screaming Meditation:

Or, when you need to just absolutely bellow your head off but it is not appropriate because [insert most of the situations of normal life.] Weirdly cathartic. Recommend doing behind a closed door / in front of those you can have some feels around– not, say, in a staff meeting.
